Can only echo previous reviews, hired 'Julie' a great van, enjoyed Gibb river road and many water crossings! Nic is professional, friendly and incredibly helpful, would recommend.

The whole proces from renting till returning the car was very pleasant. Nic was very responsive, helped out with a few questions and also returning the car was a pleasant experience. the car (Hilux) had all facilities you need for a good camping trip to the outback, but also for more regular places a very well equiped car. Happy to recommend allstar 4wd hire to anyone contemplating a trip in the Australian outback. My lifelong friend and my self (both females in our mid 60’s) have just travelled around on the gibb river road, Litchfield NP, Kakadu etc etc without a problem . Gibb river rd was in great condition and we had a younger couple with us some of the time however the vehicle was a dream for us to manage and drive all of which we did on our own. It had everything you could need and the support and encouragement from Tim, Emma and their gang was amazing .

2nd time we’ve used Allstar now and Nic, Emma & the whole team are great. The vans are equipped with everything you need!! We had a slight problem with our battery but Emma did everything she could with no hesitation to help us out. Nothing is too much for these guys and it’s so refreshing to use a company that actually cares about their customers experience, not just the money! we cannot recommend these guys enough!!

We rented the Prado through Allstar for 17 days in March. They were amazing to deal with, very responsive and helpful. The vehicle was kitted out so well, they had thought of everything down to a PLB and first aid kit. We also rented a double swag and bedding which was great. The fridge in the vehicle had its own battery so we always had cold supplies even when we were parked up for a few days. We drove one way Perth to Broome and there was no one way fee which most other companies had wanted. Would highly recommend and we would definitely rent through them again.

I cannot recommend this company enough & I’m so happy but also so sad it’s taken us so long to find them! We’ve used plenty of other companies since being in Australia and this is by far the best company we have used, they have thought of absolutely every scenario and have equipped the van with everything you would possibly need! We picked the van and all equipment up in immaculate condition. It’s so refreshing to hire a vehicle and be able to actually use it for what it was made for!! I also absolutely love that everything is included in the price no sneaky extras. Like bedding, gas bottles & cleaning fee is all included. You can also let them know what time you are collecting / dropping off and you don’t get charged “early or late fees” I could honestly go on all day about how great this company is but all of the other reviews speak for themselves Nic was a testament for what Allstar 4WD stands for. We will never use another company again. Thanks again for a great vehicle to help us with our trip.

Good morning, everyone. We traveled along the WA coast for 19 days. We decided to rent a 4x4 rooftop tent camper from Allstar 4x4 WD Camper Hire. It was an excellent choice. From the excellent communication with Nic and the rest of his team, to the vehicle preparation and on-site service, everything was very smooth, professional, and hassle-free. The same was true when returning the vehicle. I can wholeheartedly recommend their services to all future clients.

Les locaux sont tous neufs et les véhicules comme tels malgré 180.000 kms pour notre Hilux camper avec double tente de toit Julie. Le véhicule passe partout, les chemins au sable profond comme une dune au sable dur. Pas de stress pour aller sur les plages. Il a avalé les kms sur les liaisons avec régulateur adaptatif, entre autres. Équipement parfaitement complet avec le couchage. Un voyage de rêve. Si un truc devais être amélioré c’est l’éclairage extérieur pour manger le soir avec une rampe led aimanté par exemple. Merci Allstar, je vous recommande à tous

Naprosto souhlasím s recenzemi, které zde jsou. Všechno od Allstar bylo perfektní. S kamarádem jsem cestovala po západní Austrálii 3 týdny, ujeli necelých 8000 km a bylo to skvělé. Auto je perfektně vybavené od kuchyně, přes “koupelnu”, po ložnici. Spaní ve stanu bylo opravdu pohodlné. Kuchyň vybavena vším potřebným. Auto bylo ve skvělé kondici a ani jednou jsme neměli technický problém na voze. Auto bez problému zvládlo jak silnici, tak štěrkovou cestu i pláž. Když se naskytla závada plynového vařiče, a kontaktovali jsme Nika, hned druhý den nám zajistil nový k vyzvednutí v místě, kde jsme se zrovna pohybovali. Jednání majitelů a zaměstnanců bylo skvělé. Moc děkuji za perfektní zkušenost, rozhodně vřele doporučuji.

Wir haben für zehn Tage einen Hilux mit Doppeldachzelt (Helen) gemietet und sind rundum zufrieden. Der gesamte Ablauf war von Anfang bis Ende sehr einfach, schnell und äußerst informativ. Die Kommunikation war klar und transparent, sodass keine Fragen offenblieben. Besonders positiv hervorzuheben ist, dass es keinerlei Probleme oder versteckte beziehungsweise zusätzliche Kosten gab – alles war fair und wie vereinbart. Der Vermieter war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Fahrzeug war bestens ausgestattet und es war alles vorhanden, was wir für unseren Trip benötigt haben. Die Anmietung und Rückgabe verliefen vollkommen reibungslos und ohne jegliche Vorkommnisse. Wir würden jederzeit wieder hier mieten und können es uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen!

Wir hatten 4 aufregende Wochen in unserem 4WD mit Dachzelt, von Darwin bis Perth. Die 4WD sind perfekt ausgerüstet für die Gibb River Road. Allstar verspricht nicht zuviel! So richtig zeigte sich die Bereitschaft, ihre Kunden zufriedenzustellen, als etwas unvorhergesehenes passierte. Nach einem Breakdown wurde uns innerhalb weniger Stunden über Nacht in entlegener Gegend ein anderes Fahrzeug zur Verfügung gestellt. Unglaublich, das Team kann zaubern! We had an amazing trip thanks to them ! We rented the Prado for 10 days without camping equipments as we had our own and we had so much fun. The car was confortable and so easy to drive. Doing Off road went very well, driving along beaches or just in the middle of the nowhere was an amazing experience for us. I totally recommend AllStar 4WD and thank you again to the team you guys are doing a fantastic job

We had the camper for five weeks and had the most amazing time. It had everything we needed to travel independently and comfortably. The large fuel tank was a huge advantage. This vehicle is an excellent way to get to secluded and beautiful places. The Allstar Camper team is super friendly and helpful. We were provided with travel tips, received a briefing that left nothing to be desired, and can only say thank you and highly recommend the company.

We had an amazing holiday. The car was very comfortable to ride and reliable. The big diesel tank was really aan advantage. The team at All Star Camper Hire were really helpful and respond very quickly when we had problems. I highly recommend it.

We had a fantastic holiday in the NT with an Allstar 4WD with rooftop tents. The 4WD had everything we needed, easy to setup and pack down. No issues throughout our trip and more than capable on the various 4WD tracks. The solar and battery allowed us to stay off grid as long as we needed. Excellent communication from the team from enquiry through to handover. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.

Well what an amazing trip that was. We picked up our super Toyota Hilux with roof tent on the 22nd July 2025 from the Broome depot. We stocked up the fridge and pantry with food, water and a few beers from a supermarket in Derby and hit the road. We took our time visiting the gorges and waterfalls along the Gibb river road. We branched off to Drysdale station where we birded the river and enjoyed the outback pub in the evening. Then up to Mitchell Falls campground via Bradshaw rock art. We stayed at Mitchell Falls campground for five nights searching successfully for the elusive Black Grasswren. Then onwards to the nice towns of Wyndham and Kununurra where we found the beautiful Gouldian Finch. We returned via Halls Creek and Fitzroy Crossing and called in at Tunnel Creek. We arrived back in Broome on the 15th August thrilled at our accomplishments. We loved that we could pull over and make a brew anytime, and equally after dark cook a meal and eat around a campfire. The other folk we met were always helpful with advice on road conditions and the best spots to visit. It was still cool at night and good for sleeping and the roof tent was comfy and not a single bad back. Great company to deal with, highly recommended.

We have rented a vehicle from Allstar Camper Hire for the second time now and once again spent several weeks travelling through Australia – and we couldn’t be happier! The camper is equipped with everything you need: comfortable bedding, a compressor, large water tank, portable toilet, BBQ, gas stove, and more. We had fantastic experiences driving along beaches as well as tackling the Gibb River Road, including exciting water crossings. Our vehicle handled everything with ease and made our holiday truly unforgettable! A huge thank you also for the outstanding support – Nic was always available throughout our trip whenever we had questions.
